The Desert Dharma Center held it's first retreat in mid May lead by Rev. Yin Ming Shakya (Jean). The retreatants were regular sangha members as well as friends from San Antonio. We had formal meditation times, periods for individual practice and rest, a dharma talk each day and the opportunity for participants to see Jean privately about their practice. The facility was donated by Betty Yndo and the food was prepared on site by Emily Harman . (click on picture for better view)
